Installing mods is very simple after you'll understand the game's folders structure. Many sim racers are having trouble finding the correct folder to copy the mod files. Don't worry, we're here to help.
1. After you’ve downloaded mod’s .zip file, right click on it and click “Extract all”:
2. Select the Destination folder to extract the files. You can leave it as it is, or select another directory.
3. Wait for the extraction to complete:
4. Now you will have a new folder with mod’s files in it:
5. Open it, select all files (CTR+A), right click on them, and press “CUT”. Alternatively you can use CTRL+X command to CUT the files:
6. Now you need to locate your Assetto Corsa folder. Usually it’s the “SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa”. Right click in any free space and press “Paste” or CTRL+V:
7. It will ask if you want to Replace or Skip files. Select the “Replace the files in the destination”:
8. After all files were copied you can go to your “SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars” folder and check if all new cars are in the correct folder:
9. Now you can launch the game to find your newly installed Grand Prix 2022 Mod:
10. Select the desired car and you’re ready to go!
